Problem Report Number: T13534 A Windows 95 ModemShare client locks up when uploading files using ZMODEM protocol. Fixed in MSHARE.VXD v7.01. Problem Report Number: T13494 '0 modem servers found' if modem server is on a different segment from the ModemShare client across an IPX router, unless it is the first time that the NETWRX.DAT file is built. Fixed in MSHARE.VXD v7.01, MSERVER.EXE v7.01, MCLIENT.DLL v7.01, MCLIENT.EXE v7.01, and MLCLIENT.EXE v7.01. Note that any existing NETWRX.DAT file should be backed up if desired, then renamed or deleted so that the updated ModemShare can create a new NETWRX.DAT file. Problem Report Number: T12655 Unable to fax using Microsoft Fax for Windows 95 over ModemShare. Fixed in MSHARE.VXD v7.01. Problem Report Number: T12649 Windows 95 Scripter for the Dial-Up adapter does not work through ModemShare. Fixed in MSHARE.VXD v7.01. Problem Report Number: T12525 Exception 0E in VxD MSHARE.001 at 002A when using IPX/SPX 32 (Novell Client 32). Fixed in MSHARE.VXD v7.01. Problem Report Number: T12248 ModemShare client cannot find modem server across IPX router. Fixed in MSHARE.VXD v7.01, MCLIENT.DLL v7.01, and MCLIENT.EXE v7.01. Problem Report Number: T12081 When using Windows 95 Color Scheme 'High Contrast Black', some text boxes of Port Status and Setup are "black on black" and the text was not visible. Fixed in PORTSETC.EXE v7.01. Problem Report Number: T11936 WinFax Pro 7 for Windows 95 locks the computer after sending 51% of page one of a fax over ModemShare. Fixed in MSHARE.VXD v7.01. Note that increased buffer size is also required (ModemShare Client needs 100K for text and 500K for graphics). ***************************************************************************** RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ***************************************************************************** In a temporary directory, run the self-extracting executable file MSR700.EXE to extract the MSRUPGRD.EXE and other supporting files. Be sure to read both this file and the README.TXT file completely before starting the patch process. Run the MSRUPGRD.EXE file by following the instructions in the README.TXT file for your specific configuration of ModemShare. This will create the updated versions of the ModemShare files. Repeat this procedure on all computers that are running ModemShare. Note that the file SURVEY.TXT is included in this patch.
